Cows are taking over the South Point subdivision in Denham Springs, according to one resident.

She says sometimes there are as many as 20 cows that escape from the neighboring property and roam through the streets.

"The whole subdivision is full of cow poop," she says. "I go outside and there are cows under the carport and in the bushes. I don't know what to do. The man won't come get his cows."

The problem started about three weeks ago. She says it was funny at first, but not anymore.

She says the cows were out on Halloween.

"The kids were trick or treating and the cows are running through the subdivision."

She says she's called police.
